Under the initiative of improving the health facilities in the Northern Province, the Government of Sri Lanka expanded the Point Pedro Base Hospital, with the aid of a loan granted by Netherland constructs of Accident and Emergency Centre. The Point Pedro Base Hospital comprises a three-story main building, which is focused on Emergency, Trauma, Rehabilitation, Obstetrics as well as Inpatient Services having 5,085m2 GFA, 84 beds with the latest medical facility and technology. DEMAQ rendered the following solutions to the hospital:

- Fire Protection and Detection Systems.
